About

Real-time multiplayer. Drop bombs, grab powerups, blow up your friends. Rooms for 4/6/8 players, bot opponents, mobile support (a bit rough but it works 🤷‍♂️), and a sudden-death mode that spirals the walls inward if a round drags on.

Curator's Note

BlastMates is a real-time multiplayer bomb arena that runs right in your browser — drop bombs, grab powerups, blow up your friends. Rooms for 4, 6, or 8 players, bot opponents if you're solo, and a sudden-death mode that spirals the walls inward when a round drags on. Martin Boksa built the whole thing solo, in a day. It looks dead simple, and it is — but it's genuinely entertaining, and it's not the pushover I expected. The bots are surprisingly strong; they move well and they'll corner you fast. Where it really clicks is with friends: this is a perfect quick party game, the kind of thing you fire up to settle who's taking out the trash. The neat little twist is branded bricks — you can drop your own logo into the arena for 30 days and every player sees it. Small idea, clever execution. Tip from playing it: don't treat the bots as filler. Keep your escape route open before you place a bomb, and once sudden-death kicks in and the walls start closing, stop chasing kills and play the shrinking space — that's where most rounds are actually won or lost. Honest call: it's a Bomberman formula at heart, so the appeal isn't new mechanics — it's the execution, the party-game feel, and the branded-brick wrinkle. Mobile works but is, by the maker's own admission, a bit rough. Take it for what it is: a fast, fun, blow-up-your-buddies arena, not a genre reinvention.
